Lifers: Stories From Prison
Reflecting on their lives and crimes, five men, all in prison for life, allow an intimate and humane experience into a world most of us don't get to experience.

Originally conceived as a film to help reduce youth violence, LIFERS evolved into a deeper exploration of crime and humanity. This film offers a look at the prison system and those involved in it including inmates, their families, and those who work with them.

In Canada, unlike in the United States, those who are given life sentences are often released. Is ours a more humane system? Is rehabilitation possible?
